How the Presto Gel hemorrhoid treatment works
Harmful bacteria play a significant role in promoting inflammation and discomfort and as a result, the researchers determined that most hemorrhoid discomforts and inflammation are caused by the actions of bacteria as well as faecal acids and toxins. Microorganisms are equipped on the surface of their cell-membranes with a self-adhering capability that supports the infection process. They attach themselves to the cells (skin) of host organisms using lectins (sugar-binding proteins). Lectins aid the recognition process between cells and proteins, enabling the process to be highly specific. As a result, the lectins bind the microorganisms to mannose (a simple sugar) found on the surface of the hosts cell membrane (skin).
Bacterial lectins are also attracted to the chains of polysaccharide molecules found in Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera). Applying Presto Gel presents the microorganisms with a layer of Aloe Vera extract on the surface of your skin with the result that the microbial lectins bind to the Aloe Vera plant polysaccharide molecules before they can reach your skin. This prevents the microbes from attaching to your skin and provides a safe, physical barrier against microbial invasion.Once the infection pathway is blocked and bacterial development prevented, the body is presented with the best conditions to naturally control and overcome any associated inflammation. This brings relief from the related hemorrhoid pain and anal discomforts.
RESEARCH
The quest for a safe, natural treatment preparation for Hemorrhoids began in 2006 at the Israpharm Clinic in Israel by two highly respected physicians, Drs. Alex Viminitz and Shimon Shohet, who are both expert in the use of plant extracts for optimum health.
The initial research confirmed that most hemorrhoid symptoms and discomforts are caused by bacteria and faecal acids and toxins, so work was begun to develop a hemorrhoid gel that would act as an effective protective barrier using extracts from the aloe vera plant (long been associated with healing).
Three phases of clinical trials were carried out over a fifteen month period involving over 200 randomly selected patients who collectively presented all stages of hemorrhoid symptoms.

Once optimized, the gel demonstrated such superior clinical performance during the extensive trials that it exceeded the expectations of all the participants. In fact, of the 30 randomly selected and standardized patients who took part in the final Clinical Trials:
All but three were pain free after 24 hours and no pain at all was reported at 14 days
At 60 days, all bleeding had stopped and only two patients still presented objective signs of the hemorrhoids (also spelled or known as hemorrhoids, piles, hemorrhoidal disease).
The researchers named their product “Presto Gel” because its effect was so rapid.
Feel the difference!
While individual response may vary, from the first application of Presto Gel, most users will immediately experience what may be described as a pleasant soothing or cooling sensation in the affected area as the bacterial and acid protective barrier takes effect.
As the cooling sensation subsides, the pain associated with inflamed Hemorrhoidal veins will also subside.
